FTP
Ftp (file transfer protocol) allows you to move files from your computer to your folder on our server. Note: If you use any of the ftp methods shown here, except Click2Print, Presentation Gold or the new beta ftp uploader, you must send an email to orders@thephotoplacelab.com describing your order and giving us complete instructions for printing.

Mac users only. Download and use "Fetch" a Mac ftp client. Download
Mac Users may also register with Performer Software and use the EZweb Ordering system, which is compatible with both Mac & PC. Registration Page
OR
Windows users. Download and use "WsFtp". Download
OR
Windows users. Download and use "FileZilla", a free software. Download
OR
Windows users. Download and use "SmartFtp". Download
Note: If you use any of these ftp client programs:
The host address is:
thephotoplacelab.serveftp.com
The username is:
Your username on our server.
The password is:
Your password on our server.
Once you set up your ftp program, moving files to and from the server is really simple.
OR
Use Windows Explorer. Open Windows Explorer or My Computer (any windows browser window). In the address bar type the following:
Hit the "enter" key on your keyboard.
If you have entered the information correctly, your ftp folder on our server will open. You will be able to drag images and/or folders into it.
OR
Use Network Places. Add your ftp folder on our server as a "Network Place" on your computer. This will allow you to
access your ftp folder at any time, with the click of a mouse. You will only have to set this up
once. These instructions apply to Windows XP, for Vista screen captures

Start by clicking on Network Places.
Then Click on Add Network Place.
The Network Wizard will open.
Click Next and another window will ask you where you want to create it.
Be sure that "Choose another location" is highlighted and click Next.
The next window allows you to type in an address.
Enter the information as follows:
Click "Finish" on the last screen, and your folder on our server should open.
This procedure will create an item in your Network Places.
In the future when you click on this
item
your folder on our server should open.
You may right click and create a shortcut on your desktop.
Remember, if you place an order on our server using this method,
you must send an email to
orders@thephotoplacelab.com
giving us the details of the order, and printing instructions.
